Welcome to the vibrant world of Rajawali Kopitiam, a culinary gem located in the bustling heart of Palembang. Nestled on Jl. Rajawali, this restaurant merges the best of Western and Eastern flavors, creating a delightful fusion that tantalizes taste buds. Their unique offerings are a feast for the senses, featuring innovative dishes like nachos with gudeg and Italian bakmi. As a food reviewer for Menustic, my anticipation grew with each dish put before me.
One of the standout dishes highlighted by satisfied patrons like Dimas Kuswiendanarto is the kwetiau goreng seafood. Its smoky flavor and perfect texture make it a true delicacy, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail that goes into each preparation. The restaurant's commitment to quality is evident, drawing customers back for memorable meals.
Rajawali Kopitiam isn't just about food; the ambiance plays a vital role. The strategic location near hotels makes it an inviting stop for travelers, while the clean atmosphere, adorned with an array of striking plants like Xanthosoma lindenii and monstera deliciosa, brings a refreshing touch of nature indoors. It creates a warm, welcoming environment that encourages leisurely meals or quick bites alike.
While the overall experience shines, customer feedback indicates areas for improvement, particularly regarding service flexibility. For instance, requests for chili oil, a crucial condiment for many dishes, faced resistance from the staff, leading to a less than ideal dining experience for some. This highlights the balance between following rules and providing excellent customer service—an opportunity for the management to refine their approach.
Regardless, Rajawali Kopitiam thrives on its concept of offering affordable, delectable meals in a casual setting. Whether you're in the mood for traditional Indonesian cuisine or want to try their delightful fusion dishes, this eatery has something for everyone. They even cater to various dining preferences, such as providing a smoking area and accommodating different payment methods.
In conclusion, Rajawali Kopitiam captures the essence of culinary creativity, blending vibrant flavors in a cozy atmosphere while reminding us that there's always room for growth. As someone passionate about food, I can't help but appreciate the various experiences and tastes this restaurant has to offer. I look forward to visiting again and witnessing how they evolve in their service and dishes!

Food's nice, it's a western and eastern mixed cuisine concept: nacho + gudeg, italian bakmi, pad thai... The plants are amazing too, Xanthosoma lindenii, monstera deliciosa, cactus, etc. some artificials tho...

A strategic location coz i'ts right in front of the hotel i'm staying at, the foods is worth the price, but the service is bit inflexible. We ordered hakkau and asked for chili oil, but the waitress said chilli oil only for noodle dishes. We asked for just a little, but they still said no, she said the rules comes from their superior. Guest what, giving customer chili oil wouldn't bankrupt them. Hopefully they will improve in the future.

Indonesian and Chinese food Restaurant Spacious place COVID-19 Protocol Comfortable atmosphere Cash, Debit/Credit card available Vehicle parking space available Public transportation access Affordable price No Air Conditioner Smoking Area Clean area --- No Wifi Halal Standard parking fee I use to eat Chicken Noodles here. But the taste was not as good as the first time they are opening long time ago. But since there are COVID-19 outbreak, they put spoon and chop sticks in a glass with boiled water. That was good. The waiters is also wearing face mask.

A good place to eat and to hang out with your friends, family or a love one. Never failed to impress me with their food moreover when it comes to their Chinese food. For some people their food sometimes a little bland, but what you have to do is only asking them to bring you some salty or sweet soy sauce or even some rawit (bird's eye chili pepper or whatsoever you've called it). For you who wants to eat dim sum here, they serve dim sum for breakfast till 2 pm only. Worth to try.
